New jeep

Well moving to the country only means one thing, buying a 4WD. After searching for a while it was down to just one a Jeep Cherooke Limited. It has a few km's on it but absolutely perfect inside with all the trimmings.

On Sunday past we took it out and headed to stringy bark creek to see the Kelly tree. A spot where Ned Kelly killed 3 bush rangers who were on the search for his capture. It was very cold around 5 degrees at 12 noon but that did not stop Isabella and Poppie having a great time.

Got the Job!!!

Well I am just so excited I got the job of Manager for the High Country Reservation and the Information office located in Mansfield which also means managing the information center at Mount Buller. My first day is Monday the 21 June. I had a photo opp with the local paper today and expect to be in it next Tuesday.

Amy is excited to say the least and with us both working and Isabella at day care we have finally found our feet again. Thanks no doubt to some wonderful words of encouragement from friends and relatives who kindly sent all there good wishes.

all well sort of!!

Well being a family one can only expect that when one member gets the cold it usually means the whole team. Its my turn and boy do I hate feeling sick! woke up today mum and Isabella are ready to hit the beautiful day here in Mansfield and I am stuck in Bed, bugger!!!
Yesterday I had a interview with the high country management board for the position of Manager and I believe it went well, I just pray the other 2 applicants did not fare so well, in a kind way of course. Cant wait for the long weekend have Hamish and perhaps her best friend Rebecca coming to stay so it should be lot of fun!!
